This year our church is supporting the charity Young Minds. Click here to watch a video telling you more about their vital work and learn how you can be a part of it.
Statistics outlined by the leading charity Young Minds are alarming. Suicide was the leading cause of death for males and females aged between five to 34 in 2019. The number of young people referred to mental health services reached a record high last year. Today, one in six children aged five to 16 have been identified as having a probable mental health problem. That’s five children in every classroom. Mental health issues are affecting the young lives of many thousands of young people today, for whom the charity Young Minds is working to form an effective response.
Please give a thought to their work this Lent and support it with your Lent donations. There are collection envelopes and information sheets available from the reception desk at Holy Trinity Church for you to take away and fill with whatever donations you can afford. It’s a great cause.
